Porzione inferiore di statuetta femminile, ammantata. Si tratta di una statuetta riferibile al tipo della figura femminile stante panneggiata, ispirato al modello delle cosiddette “Tanagrine”, largamente diffuso a partire dalla fine del IV e per tutto il III e il II sec. a.C.

Gli esemplari sono eseguiti a stampo, tramite l’ausilio di una o di due matrici, e si presentano dunque internamente cavi.

Little piece of the bottom part of a female statuette with a sculpted mantle.

It is a statuette of a female bidder with a mantle, inspired by the model of the “Tanagrine”, which was widespread from the end of the 4th century and during the 3rd and 2nd century AD.

The examples are made with a mould through the support of two principal models, with an internal cave, from which these statuettes were realized.
